Network - BCC (Block Check Character)

In longitudinal redundancy checks (LRCs), a character inserted at the end of a block to provide error-detection capabilities. Each of the character's bits is a parity bit for a column of bits in the block. SEE ALSO CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check)
