Network - Protocol, AFP (AppleTalk Filing

Protocol) An application/presentation layer protocol used between file servers and clients in an AppleShare network and for remote access to an AppleTalk network. AFP is also supported by most non-Macintosh network operating systems. For example, Novell's NetWare for the Macintosh provides AFP support for NetWare file servers.
